my first day in the United states
I stil remember when I first arrived in the united states. I arrived in JKF in new york. there was very crowed in the airport, so I hardly found my friend. we went my friend's house in manhattan by taxi. there were many higher buildings in the city, many americans that I had never seen. everything was unfamiliar, so I was so afraid of them in the first time. something are still unfamilier, but I adapt to life in America much better than before

You tell us about your feelings when you arrived in the United States. It is clear that you were frightened. All the new sights and people can be overwhelming. Could you tell us how the buildings looked to you and how the Americans looked.
Don't forget that proper nouns must begin with a capital letter as in "United States" and "New York."
WHAT'S IT LIKE COMING TO THE UNITED STATES NOT KNOWING ANYONE HERE.
